The awe of this - for me - was the pure and simple joy on my kids’ faces when they checked the truck over that 4-hour period. I wondered, me of little faith, if they would be "disappointed in the result…" my mind went as far as to how I would talk them through that.  Thank you, Lord, for giving me my children to remind me to center Hope in You, on You, with You.  And - perhaps most importantly - to START there.

Hello and Happy May. Wishing all mothers a marvelous Mother’s Day. The Board of Stewards meeting yesterday was well represented. Lydia Ponce joined us from the Asbury Campus. It was great to see her.

The AHUMC Missions & Outreach Task Force recently decided to financially support three agencies in San Antonio who continue to operate and serve the community during this time of quarantine. Greetings. We are now at the end of the most unusual April in memory. I pray that all are safe and are enduring these stay home circumstance. I especially thank the fantastic members of the Church’s Board of Stewards. We meet weekly with the key staff to ensure that the church is a “Christian community of love, hope and belonging for all.” Last night’s meeting was no exception.
