When we look at current headlines, the common theme we often see is fear. It’s important to address safety and preparedness with the public health concerns involved with COVID-19 and we need to do so in an informed manner that leads us to peace. Finding peace in everyday life can be hard and many people seek peace through the church. The Bible calls us to “cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7) and “let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts” (Colossians 3:15). We want Alamo Heights United Methodist Church to be a place of safety, comfort, and peace when you may have trouble finding it elsewhere.
