Take a journey with us this season with our Daily Advent Calendar. Each day includes scripture, a short meditation, and a poem.

These devotionals are a great way to start your day with a moment of grounding and begin a conversation with others about this special season, whether at home or on our campus.

Advent Manger Donations

Manger Donation 2

Be the miracle this Christmas by donating pots, pans, and kitchen utensils that will benefit the women and children of Magdalena House. Any donation, big or small, can make a difference.

Donations can be left in any of the mangers beginning next Sunday, December 8 through Saturday, December 14. Mangers will be located in the Atrium, Christian Life Center, and Sanctuary.

Please Note: Our first Collection Drive of Children's Toys will be accepted in the Mangers through December 7.

Taizé 25th Anniversary

Celebrate 25 Years of Taizé at AHUMC

Join us on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. as we celebrate 25 Years of Prayer in the Style of Taize at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.

The candlelight service will be held in the Garden Chapel with music provided by the AHUMC Taize Ensemble. Holy Communion will be available to all. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship and refreshment.
