Since I arrived at the church in 2019, many of you have expressed a desire for more fellowship time as part of our communal life. The effects of the COVID-19 have increased this feeling; after many months apart, I think all of us have a renewed appreciation for Christian fellowship and connection. Thus, I’m very excited to tell you that we are changing our Sunday schedule this fall to increase our opportunities for fellowship with guests and one another.

Saturday, June 26, young adults from all around San Antonio gathered at the Pearl Farmers Market to enjoy time of fellowship together.

The Board of Stewards met for the June meeting. It was marvelous to see everyone in person for the first time in months. Thanks be to God for this blessing. After the preliminary admin duties, Valerie Slade provided the financial update.

Mission Week Daily Summary 

Day 1: Our work at the food bank was fruitful. Along with all the volunteers we sorted over 11,000 pounds of food. That comes out to about 8,900 meals!
