It is with mixed emotions that I tell you about the next chapter that God is calling me to.

We are glad to welcome Robert Duncan as the new Associate Director of Youth Ministry!  He and his family have been members of AHUMC since 2014.  Robert describes his family as being “passionate” about our church.  He recalls, “After attending a modern worship service, the warm community of people and the worship music kept us coming back.”  The Duncans have four boys—Russell (13), Blake (11), Mitchell (9), and Paul (7).

The Board of Stewards met for the September meeting. We had the joy of the introduction of three new staff members.

One of the things I love about AHUMC is the courageous spirit of the church. Grounded in the goodness and calling of God, Alamo Heights has consistently engaged in bold, creative ministry to reach our neighbors with the love of Christ.
