Snack Pak 4 Kids San Antonio delivers snack bags that provide children with access to nutritious foods over the weekend. This agency has been able to continue its efforts during this time of quarantine. They continue to work with schools to distribute the weekend snack bags along with the weekday meals provided by the school districts.
The AHUMC Missions & Outreach Task Force recently decided to financially support 3 agencies in San Antonio who continue to operate and serve the community during this time of quarantine. Christian Assistance Ministry
Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM) is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ by helping those with great need facing long or short-term crisis. During this time of crisis, CAM is keeping its doors open to serve those less fortunate in the San Antonio Community.
This is another agency that our Missions & Outreach Task Force has extended financial support to in this time. CAM has more ways that you can help out through making hygiene kits and food kits for the homeless.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels continues to serve meals during this time to the 5,000 homebound senior clients they serve every year, taking special precautions to keep their clients safe. They are an essential service to so many in our community!
Meals on Wheels is yet another agency that AHUMC Missions and Outreach Task Force sent support to this month. Without the support of the members of our church, we could not extend offerings to these frontline organizations. We thank you so much for your support of our mission of partnering with God in bringing the kingdom of heaven to earth by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
