A Special Workshop offered by Porter Loring's Bereavement Counselors
Grief during the holidays is always challenging, even more so in recent years. The holiday season renews memories, family ties, and traditions. Yet, we become painfully aware that loved ones are no longer present, and the pain of the loss is confused with the spirit of the season, making it difficult for families to navigate.
We live with an added layer of collective grief and vulnerability. Learning to navigate a changing world, combined with the sorrow of our loss, causes us to grieve on many levels. So how do we allow ourselves to find our grounding in these difficult times?
This workshop will help identify internal and external resources that strengthen families’ self-compassion and enhance their resiliency while embracing their grief. Participants will discover how their loved ones can live on, using this special time to continue to heal.
This workshop is free with no registration required.
