The Children's Ministry is happy to host another Children's Sunday on October 20, which is a day that celebrates your kids!
As always, there are many creative ways for your kids to participate in services on Children's Sunday.
Ways to Participate
Drawings:
On this day, we are looking for a child’s drawing to be the cover of the special children's bulletin!
- Parents: Ask your child, “Where do you see God’s beauty?”
- Talk with them about what some examples might be, then have them draw a response.
- Drawings should be on 8 1/2 x 11 white paper. They must be in the vertical/portrait position.
- Have them use crayons, markers, or paints in vivid colors so that it will show up well when reproduced.
- Have them write their first name only on one of the four corners of their artwork.
- Drop off the original artwork (no scans) to Gina Beal or Angela Leonhardt by Sunday, October 6.
Video:
Children can be part of a video that will be shown in services on Children's Sunday.
- Participants will be holding posters. No speaking is required.
- Recording will take place on Sunday, October 6.
- Your child must be in Sunday School or Sunday Sounds on October 6 to participate.
Ushers/Greeters:
Children can be greeters and/or ushers at any of our services that day.
Readers:
Children will have the opportunity to be readers at any of our services that day.
