Mobile Mammography Bus

The Mobile Mammography Bus is coming to AHUMC!

Friday, November 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you are over 40 and need a routine annual screening,

register now to take advantage of this opportunity.

An appointment is required.

There are three ways to schedule an appointment through University Health System.

1. Through the website: www.healthyUexpress.com
    

   -Select "Schedule mobile mammography appointment"

   -Answer the screening questions

   -Click "Next"

   -Select Date: 11/18/2022

   -Selcect Organizer: Methodist Healthcare Ministries

   -Select the preferred appointment time slot

   -Answer the spam prevention question

   -Verify the date and time

   -Enter the reason for visit: screening mammogram

   -Complete registration form

2. Register using the QR Code (found in flyers)

    

   The QR code will direct you to the UHS website

   Follow the same steps as above

3. Call 210-358-7020 (long wait times)

• The UHS Mobile Mammography Unit will not screen any women experiencing breast issues; those women would need to make an appointment through their primary care provider for a more extensive exam.

• All women must be 40 years of age or older.

• Following registration, an UHS associate will contact you within 3-5 business days to confirm your appointment and verify your patient information.

• Most insurances are accepted.
• If the client is self-pay, appointment cost will be collected over the phone.

• Uninsured clients may apply for financial assistance through University Health System.

• Patients will receive their mammogram results by phone within 36-48 hours. Results may also be viewed through the MyChart app. A letter will also be mailed to each patient with results.
