My name is Val Dullnig, and I have called AHUMC my church home for 30 years. During this time, I have been blessed to be baptized, married, and have raised my two children right here at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church. My husband Dave and I have served in many ways here at church and I’m beyond thrilled that God has called me to join our staff to work with our precious youth as Associate Director.
Last fall, I felt a strong call in my heart to volunteer with our youth group and since that time I have grown to love walking alongside our students as they discover who they are in Christ and watching their faith take shape. I’m so grateful to work with Emma as our Director. Her leadership, encouragement, and heart for our teens have been such a blessing to me as I’ve stepped into this role.
I’m so excited for the opportunity to serve our youth and our church family, and I look forward to all God has ahead.
