Hello and Happy May. Wishing all mothers a marvelous Mother’s Day. The Board of Stewards meeting yesterday was well represented. Lydia Ponce joined us from the Asbury Campus. It was great to see her.

The AHUMC Missions & Outreach Task Force recently decided to financially support three agencies in San Antonio who continue to operate and serve the community during this time of quarantine. As you continue to support our church with your financial giving, please know that we’re supporting these amazing agencies!

Greetings. We are now at the end of the most unusual April in memory. I pray that all are safe and are enduring these stay home circumstance. I especially thank the fantastic members of the Church’s Board of Stewards. We meet weekly with the key staff to ensure that the church is a “Christian community of love, hope and belonging for all.” Last night’s meeting was no exception.

I pray you and your families are safe and well. I know we all miss seeing one another in person and look forward to the day we can gather again as a family of faith. In light of recent state and local rulings regarding the gradual reopening of Texas businesses, many of you are anxious to know when the church campus will reopen and how that reopening will address the health and safety of our members and guests.
