Taizé Service

6:30 p.m. | First Wednesday of the month

Please join us on the first Wednesday of each month for a meditative prayer service that features singing, scripture, and silence in the Taizé style of worship.

We hope to see you in person or online as we celebrate our 25th year of offering Taizé at AHUMC!

Holy Communion will be available for those who desire to partake. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship and refreshment.

A Prayer by Brother Roger

Be patient, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. You also much be patient. Strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

Scripture for Meditation

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long. Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.
