A Vote to Grow Together
Last Sunday, members gathered for a special church conference and voted unanimously to launch the Grow Together campaign to enhance our campus as part of our calling to be a Christian community of love, hope, and belonging for all. We are grateful for all who have dedicated time, energy, prayer, and listening over the last year to discern the needs and proposed solutions for this campaign.
We will launch the Grow Together capital campaign in earnest following Easter. If, however, you would like to make a 2025 contribution for tax purposes, please contact us or visit ahumc.org/grow.
Thanksgiving Campus Closure
The AHUMC campus will be closed beginning Wednesday, November 26 at noon through Saturday, November 29.
Recovery groups that meet in the Garden Chapel are exempt from the closure.
All services will resume beginning Sunday, November 30.
Advent is coming!
The word “advent” derives from the Latin adventus, meaning “coming.” The season of Advent always includes the four Sundays before Christmas. It's a time of waiting as we prepare our hearts and lives for the coming of the Christ child.
We hope that you will join us for any or all of the many services, observances, and activities during this season.
Listen Now!
During this Advent season, we are journeying through a podcast series exploring the stories that have formed and reminded us that God is always with us. In this episode, Danyll Mercado shares his story around the theme of Hope.
Please listen to this episode on Apple or Spotify before the Modern Service on November 30, as it is a central part of the sermon that day.
