Youth Mission Trip 2022

It's finally here!

We've been waiting and planning for so long that it's hard to believe our Youth Summer Mission Trip has finally arrived.  On Sunday, June 26, a team of five high school youth and three adults will travel to El Paso, Texas to work at the Lydia Patterson Institute (LPI).

LPI is a donor-supported and UMC-connected school that has provided quality education within the Juarez-El Paso border region for over 100 years.  Their motto is "Building Bridges on the Border—Where Faith and Education Come Together."

The mission team will spend time helping with campus maintenance, such as cleaning and painting.  By sharing their time and energy, these young people will help LPI save thousands of dollars that can instead be used in their classrooms and for their students.

If you'd like to learn more about LPI, please visit their Facebook page while their website is under construction.

Your prayers for this team are greatly appreciated as they travel and spend time in service and fellowship together!
