We had a blessed three days. We made it Wednesday before the severe weather arrived in Freer and we were able to get the church decorated. The weather report was calling for hail and possible tornadoes starting about 6:30. With church leadership, we decided to postpone our start to Thursday evening and we hunkered down in our hotel rooms and slept like babies.
Thursday morning started early and we did some much needed cleaning out of the Sunday School rooms at the church. VBS Thursday and Friday nights was wonderful. We had a total of ten children in attendance and on Friday a church member came and taught the children how to rope. Roping lessons led into a good Bible story about having a relationship with God.
We are all glad to be home, but had many conversations about how amazing our time together was this year. Thank you so much for your prayers we felt every one of them!
