Thank you so much for rearranging life this week at AHUMC to welcome in UMARMY. The adults and young people that participate in this ministry are really the hands and feet of Jesus in the communities they serve.
Together, we:
hosted 49 teens and adults from 4 Texas churches (Baytown, Red Oak, Mason, La Grange),
served at 6 different work sites,
constructed four wheelchair ramps,
installed lots of siding and trim repair,
removed carpet, painted rooms, and demolished an ald concrete BBQ at Impacto,
completed cleaning and maintenance chorse at the SAC Wesley Center,
and replaced a rotten chiller yard fence at AHUMC.
We were also able to provide worship and games at the church for the workers in the evenings. Our own Vanessa Konkel even organized a night for the youth to swim!
