We recently received the news that our very own Rev. Dinah Shelly will be moving to lead her own congregation at Spring Creek UMC. We are happy for Dinah and know God will do great things through her pastoral leadership.
In the spirit of pastoral transitions, I want to express the excitement and enthusiasm building inside of me as Pastor Holly has asked me to assume the role of preaching in the CLC modern worship services. I am eager to continue serving this wonderful congregation in this new opportunity. I know I speak for Diane and our children when I say we have found a very loving home here at AHUMC and look forward to many more years together.
I am thankful for Pastor Holly’s trust and I’m ready to begin this new chapter in ministry as we continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ—to be expressions of his love and grace with everyone we encounter, to be a community of hope and belonging for all, and to be in service to the world. In preparation for these pastoral transitions, please join me in prayer as we seek to take our next faithful step in ministry together.
