Greetings Friends,
As we approach the start of fall, I’m reminded of all the things I love about the season. The beginning of high school and college football, Harvest Festival, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and of course, the AHUMC Pumpkin Patch!
As you are aware, last year we had to cancel the event due to COVID-19 and it really impacted the ministries that we support through the Pumpkin Patch. This year we want to make sure we have a safe and successful Pumpkin Patch as our ministry partners depend on us and we depend on your support. Volunteer recruitment is now in full swing, and we need your help to staff the Pumpkin Patch table throughout the month of October. You can sign up on Sunday mornings in the atrium or online at ahumc.org/pumpkin.
This year we will be stepping into the digital age and will be accepting payment for pumpkins with cash, check, credit cards, and Venmo, but fear not! Easy step-by-step instructions will be provided.
I hope you will consider serving on our volunteer team this year. I know it can be a truly blessed experience and is a great way to spend some quality time on our beautiful campus.
May God’s love and grace continue to be with you.
Pastor Robert
