A Letter from Pastor Robert

Beloved Sisters & Brothers in Christ,

I want to let you know that today I informed Senior Pastor Jason that my time at AHUMC will soon be coming to an end. Rio Texas Conference Bishop Robert Schnase has asked me to serve as the District Superintendent of the Las Misiones District. After a time of prayer and reflection with Diane, I have humbly accepted his request. I will assume my new duties on July 1, 2023.

I have spent the last eleven years as a member of the AHUMC pastoral staff. In that time, I have been blessed by so many beautiful memories and meaningful relationships. You received me and my family with much love and for that I am truly thankful. I have been blessed by wonderful friends and mentors, and I have grown as a man and as a pastor because of your great influence. Believe me when I say, I will carry you in my heart. Please accept my sincere gratitude for allowing me to serve as one of your pastors these last eleven years.

My last Sunday with you will be June 4, 2023. Pastor Jason and the SPRC will begin the work of determining who will replace me as the CLC Modern Worship Preacher/Teacher. I know that you will receive this person with the same love in which you received me.

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and every way. The Lord be with all of you.”

2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NIV)

With much love,

Pastor Robert
