The Board of Stewards met for the June meeting. It was marvelous to see everyone in person for the first time in months. Thanks be to God for this blessing. After the preliminary admin duties, Valerie Slade provided the financial update.

Shawn has joined the AHUMC staff after relocating to the San Antonio area from middle Tennessee. With bachelor's and master's degrees in education from the University of Tennessee, she has spent over fifteen years as a public school educator.

The Kum Doublers Sunday School Class recently announced they are officially retiring the class and will no longer meet. This difficult decision ended the longest-running class at AHUMC after 73 years of fruitful, vital ministry that nurtured, sustained, and blessed not only its members but AHUMC as well.
