⭐️ AHUMC Named "Five Star Church"

We are delighted to announce that AHUMC has been named a Five Star Church by the Rio Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

The Five Star Church Program was developed in 1990 to encourage mission giving and mission outreach. It is a designation and recognition given to congregations that:

 Pay 100% of their apportionments

 Contribute toward UMCOR Sunday

 Contribute in each of the following FIVE mission categories:

- One Rio Texas district or conference Advance project
- One national Advance project outside the Rio Texas Conference
- One international Advance project
- One UMCOR project
- Support for a Global Ministries missionary
