Deuteronomy 6 says that parents are the primary disciplers of their children. We're implored to raise our children in a Godly manner. Your Student Ministry exists to assist you in this process. When students are young, parents clearly play the primary role in training their children. As they get older, students begin to look more for outside resources of wisdom. That's where LIFEgroups (and our Sunday morning programs) help out, providing additional resources to help disciple your son or daughter.
We HIGHLY recommend at all ages to go on a Family Mission Trip, do family service projects together and/or go on a Family Retreat. Additionally, Parent-Student Bible Studies are available.
