Do you want a place where your children can grow in their faith, learn about worship, make lasting friendship, use their imaginations, make and explore music and be surrounded by adults and youth that want to encourage your children in their faith? We believe in developing a child's spiritual, emotional and social health through music and worship education. Our time together is geared toward Growing in Faith, Service and Friends through Music. Come and discover the power of music in planting the seeds of our faith.
We hope your child will join us this year.

1st Grade Boys and Girls
The 1st grade group continues to learn through movement, games and singing and exploresr further music as a part of worship and our faith. Becky Riquelme, the director for the Music Makers, was an Elementray Music Teacher in NEISD.
2nd & 3rd Grade Boys and Girls
One of the goals of the Psaltery Choir is to begin developing an awareness of the child's contribution and service to the church through music. The children learn some of the traditional music responses sung in worship as well as anthems and hymns. Amanda Morris, the director for the Psaltery Choir, is the music teacher at Bulverde Creek Elementary in NEISD.
4th and 5th Grade Boys and Girls
This is our oldest children's choir, which is an extension of the Psaltery Choir experience. These children advance in their music, vocal and worship development through music, movment and play. This group also meets every six weeks for their "Fun Night" to laugh, play and socialize. Joyful Sound director, Nona Schwab, is the Associate Dir. of Music and Worship at AHUMC.
